Where did the Invader Wheel come from
and, How Strong are they ?

The below article is from the January 1974
issue of Street Chopper and Hot Bikes Magazine.
Invader Wheel AD from Street Chopper Magazine
October 1977
The Invader wheels we make today, are stronger. The spoke thickness of the 1970 style wheels used a 3/4" square tubing with a .060" wall thickness. We use .125" thick 3/4" square tubing. Our rims are also .090" thick versus the older .065" thick rims. An Invader wheel today will last a long time if mounted correctly, uses the correct tire, and is balanced properly.
